The lullaby that lured a town’s children into the dark, dragged back through the briars. Slow-burning fingerpicked guitar swells into a wall of distortion, and a voice that drifts between hymn and howl. Recorded live, by candlelight, in a single take.

A Voice From Between the Thorns

Briarghast came walking out of the hollow with a battered hollow-body guitar, a porcelain mask crowned in briars, and songs that sound like they were found rather than written. Part troubadour, part apparition, the masked one plays old melodies the way a ghost might remember them — tender, warped, and a little too loud.

Every performance is a composition in two parts: the music, and the masque.
